By accessing and using Voxt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Voxt. Users under 18 may require parental or guardian consent. Organisation accounts (e.g. schools) may set their own age policies in line with safeguarding requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Voxt, you agree to:

  • Follow our Community Standards.
  • Engage in respectful, constructive civic discourse.
  • Not post content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory.
  • Not attempt to manipulate votes, polls, or debates through automated means.
  • Not use the platform for commercial advertising or spam.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Content you post on Voxt (arguments, comments, etc.) remains yours, but you grant Voxt a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use that content as part of the platform's operation. You must not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

6. Moderation

Voxt moderators may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or our community standards. Moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting support@voxt.uk.

7. Points System

Voxt uses a points system to encourage quality participation. Points are earned through constructive engagement and may unlock additional features. Points have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

8. Disclaimer

Voxt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content. Voxt is not affiliated with any government body or political party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voxt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
